Outstanding Performing Arts success. At Berowra Public School we have innovative programs in drama and music. We have two school choirs, training and concert band, a wind ensemble, rock bands, and two recorder groups. Our two Drama groups perform at the Sydney North Drama Festival and the State Drama Festival.
Your Technology School - equipping students with skills for the future. Berowra Public School has leading technology programs and facilities. Technology is a vital component of our curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 6. This is complemented by a technology room with numerous computers with Internet access. Classroom teachers team with specialist technology teachers allowing children to develop and explore the world of information technology.

Achieving excellence in sport. The Personal Development, Health and Physical Education curriculum provides structured opportunities for students to enjoy regular physical exercise. As well, the school promotes an active lifestyle through fun activities, unstructured play on our excellent play equipment and participation in competitive and non-competitive sports. Berowra Public School participates in local and regional inter-school sports competitions with great success. We also have a Learn to Swim program.
Our Community School- working together to maximise student potential. Our school community strongly supports our welfare and discipline program. Our regulations are agreed to by our student and parent body and based on respect for the individual and for others. As a result our caring and harmonious environment enables students to learn and develop personally, socially and academically. There is strong support from parents and staff at Berowra Public School for the wearing of school uniform. We believe it helps to promote school pride and encourages the students to feel part of a cohesive and supportive community.
Our parent body meets regularly and there is a high level of involvement and support from our parents and volunteers.
We actively encourage parents to support our teaching and learning programs. There are regular opportunities for teachers and parents to meet to discuss student progress and to enhance the home and school relationship to further support the educational goals of their children.
