Money Collection Days
There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for such as:
- school books and equipment
- extra-curricular activities.
Voluntary school contribution
At the start of each year we may ask for a voluntary school contribution to enhance our educational and sporting programs.
We try to keep any additional costs to a minimum and may be able to assist families who are having financial difficulty paying schooling costs.
These important funds buy educational resources for use in classrooms and the library for the benefit of all children.
As well as the voluntary contributions, fund-raising activities by the P & C and School Support Group greatly assist the school by providing valuable resources including classroom readers, sport equipment, play equipment, class rewards and art/craft materials. Your voluntary contributions play an important part in helping to provide direct benefits to your children.
Following discussions with both the School Council and the P&C Association, the General School Contribution for 2014 has been set at $100 per child, with a maximum of $250 per family. Payment may be made as a lump sum, or by instalments.
