Opportunities for Parent/Community Involvement
There are many opportunities for parent and community involvement at Berowra Public School including:
- School Council
This consists of members representing the parents, the teachers and the wider community. The Council's role includes allocation of budget, priorities of educational and student welfare areas. The Council plays a co-ordinating role between various groups of the school community.
- P & C Association
The P&C Association is a group of parents which meet regularly to discuss matters of interest to the school community. Their role includes fundraising for the purchase of equipment, maintenance of the school grounds, decisions relating to school uniform and alike. Actions of this group benefit all students and teachers of the school.
- School Support Group
The School Support Group meets during the day and toddlers are welcome. They assist the P&C Association with its roles within the school community.
- Uniform Shop

- Before and After School Committee
- School Band Committee
There are also opportunities for involvement including:
- Support in reading, writing and spelling in the classroom
- Mathematics activities in the classroom
- Craft programs in the classroom
- Physical education and sport programs
- Maintenance of the school grounds and gardens
- Assistance in the library
